Thank you for all your questions. I would like to answer all your questions one by one:
1) You don’t need to have your own website to promote affiliate links. You can promote your own affiliate links on forums, ezines (via e-mail marketing) or use pay per click campaigns, other methods. All you have to do is just to bring targeted visitors – traffic to your affiliate links.
2) Well, yes. Actually all you need to do is to bring potential interested visitors to your affiliate links and if they buy your promoted product, you earn an affiliate commission. You can place your links on your website, but if you don’t have it – no problem. Simply promote your affiliate links via other promotional methods online.
3) If your referred visitor orders the product later – within 6 months of time, you will be credited for making a sale. Just bring a visitor. If he/she bookmarks the website and comes back later to order – you can be sure that you will be credited for making a sale.I hope this answers all your questions. As i have never done this before, I have questions.
1) Do i need my own URL to paste these links to?
2) Does promoting a product simply mean that I place the link on my page, and then the user clicks it, converts to a sale, then i get paid based on those clicks?(Keep in mind, I know what promoting a product is, but not as it pertains to affiliate marketing). 3) If a user clicks one of my promoted links, goes to the site, bookmarks it, then goes back later for a purchase, am I still getting paid for that sale?
