Drastically Reduced Fees for Affiliate Commissions Paid from PayPal to Moneybookers (or vice versa)

Some good news for affiliates who use Moneybookers, but are indirectly paid by merchants who use only PayPal.

First of all, I would like to remind everyone that even if an affiliate has only Moneybookers account and a merchant whose product the affiliate wants to promote can pay only via PayPal, we can help them: merchants will just send affiliate payments to Click2Sell and we will pay their affiliates via their used payment system. If there is an inverse scenario (an affiliate has PayPal, but merchant has only Moneybookers account), the same applies.

However, if you browse on the internet a bit, you will find out that payment transfer from PayPal to Moneybookers is very expensive (some services do that for 12-20% fee). That was an issue for us too. Once we started to help our merchants to pay their affiliates who use other payment systems, for some time the affiliates had been receiving 13-14% lower affiliate commissions just because of all fees that accompany money transfer from PayPal to Moneybookers. This was hardly acceptable, thus we began to research what we could do in order to reduce such high fees.

We have optimized some money transfer routes, cut out unnecessary ones, established some new steps which helped to reduce transfer fees.

I’m glad to announce that we have successfully reduced the transfer fees from 14% to ~6.5% (the majority of the fees is due to PayPal’s initial fee when a merchant sends us a payment to our Paypal account). I think that it is a very fair total fee, considering that all transfer fees are very high nowadays.

So I invite you to join Click2Sell and start promoting products from Click2Sell marketplace. Don’t worry if you and merchants have different payment options.
